Liquid Packaging Board (LPB) is a multi-layer, liquid-coated paperboard designed for packaging applications. Made with a three-layer (surface-core-bottom) structure, it delivers strong water resistance, anti-edge seepage, and robust bonding between paper and plastic film.
LPB excels in food and beverage packaging, combining eco-friendliness (reduced chemical use) and cost efficiency with reliable structural performance. As a high-performance liquid paper board, it provides dependable protection for a wide range of packaged products. It suits dry food, liquid-containing goods, and daily necessities.
China Paper offers a versatile LPB lineup, featuring high physical strength, excellent printability, and food-safe compliance. Its variants cater to diverse needs for durability, decorative effects, and safety standards in packaging.

To recommend the appropriate liquid packaging board, please provide the required carton volume, beverage type, storage condition, filling process, laminate structure, grammage, roll width and filling-line model.
As the structural paperboard layer in beverage cartons, liquid packaging board provides the stiffness, smooth printing surface and forming stability required for carton production and high-speed filling lines. When combined with suitable PE coatings and, where required, aluminum foil, the finished laminated structure can provide liquid resistance, sealing performance and protection against moisture, oxygen and light.
For milk carton projects, buyers can select a suitable milk board grade according to the carton volume, refrigerated or aseptic filling process, laminate structure and required shelf life. For fruit juice and beverage packaging, juice board specifications should be selected according to product acidity, filling temperature, storage conditions and barrier requirements.

With high stiffness and a clean, food-safe surface, it maintains structural stability to protect contents from damage. Its compatibility with die-cutting and forming makes it suitable for various food packaging formats. These characteristics make liquid paper board suitable for demanding food packaging applications where strength and hygiene are essential.

Liquid packaging paper (LPB) is designed for long-term storage of liquids like milk or juice, requiring a multi-layer structure with a strong barrier against oxygen and moisture. In contrast, cupstock paper is primarily for single-use cups and bowls, relying on a smooth, PE-coated surface for basic liquid resistance and formability.
The shelf life primarily depends on the product itself and the filling process, but our LPB provides excellent protection against moisture and light, helping to extend the product's freshness.
Absolutely—LPB has a smooth, coated surface that enables exceptional print quality, including vibrant colors and fine details for brand differentiation.
Yes, LPB is widely recyclable. It is typically collected with mixed paper and recycled into new paper products, contributing to a circular economy.
